I didn’t really invite other people because I wasn’t the one who initiated the adventure day. Plus, I wanted to break my bad habit of doing that in the past. I think my friend was just too polite to say no whenever I ask “can I bring xxx along too?” No problem with a few people tagging along, but later I found out that she originally wanted it to be just the 2 of us. Plus I haven’t seen these friends in a long time so a small group means more chance to catch up.
Recently I’ve been watching “Adventure Time with Finn and Jake” either in Cartoon Network or via streaming. I know it’s a kid’s show, but I find it cute and pretty funny. Plus I feel inspired that they’re always on an adventure, battling zombie candy people, defrosting business people from an iceberg, or teaching a giant snail how to charm a lady snail. It’s fiction (hello Captain Obvious!) but I feel the need to make my life more colorful, so instead of the usual let’s go to the mall this weekend to watch a movie, I think that going to uncommon and interesting places such as Intramuros is a better option.
Entrance fee is less than P100. The place is beautiful but I wish they put stories on the walls of the ruins. When we were there I could read what the structure is called, but I don’t know if anything else happened there. I guess that’s good business for Carlos Celdran and the other tour guides. Also I was disappointed that they blocked off some of the areas. The mini museum was pretty good though. It had his old furniture, his other things, clothes, etc.
